2024 EXHIBITION

The 2024 Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition ran from Sunday 1st September to Sunday 13th October and once again brought sculpture back into the shop windows of  Toorak Road. This was the 21st year the exhibition has been presented by the Toorak Village Traders, curated by Malcolm Thomson and supported by over 85 businesses. 90 new artists participated with contemporary sculptural works in the shop windows and on the sidewalks of Toorak Road, Toorak Village. An exhibition of 99 sculptures in total including the 9 permanent street sculptures purchased by the businesses over the years.

All sculptures were viewed and assessed by this year’s judge Catherine Asquith – Founder and principle advisor of Catherine Asquith Art Advisory, Certified Valuer (AVAA). Three non-acquisitive prizes totalling $15,000 were awarded to 4 sculptural artists at a gala opening event at St Germain in the village on Thursday 29th August.

The Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition is presented by the Toorak Village Traders Association, proudly supported by Stonnington City Council, Orchard Piper and the businesses of Toorak Village.

We were very proud to have Orchard Piper come aboard this year and sponsor the $10,000 1st prize.
